Telling myself that taking one season and not going out west to hunt Elk and go whitetail hunting would be fine. As much as I love hunting whitetails I have Elk fever and am going nuts I didn\'t go west this year. Thankfully reading these threads and hunt updates is like I was there with you guys.

Plans A-D must include subplans for weather (hot&dry, daily rain, funky wind, snow), getting sick, injury (ex:knee pain) and burn out.

Hunting mule deer and elk at the same time makes hunting more complicated. Focus on one or the other to achieve better results.
