I used to have an old Cabelas Alaskan pack frame with a bag - still have it but its wore out after 20 years
Well, I took the bag from it and modified it to fit one of my Kelty Cache Haulers

I have no idea how many elk I have packed out with that bag and like AndyJ said, it has an \'aroma\' :)
I just rinse it out as necessary.
It has some blood stains but nothing I worry about.

Ya more just the meat elk type smell. nothing bad or anything. It now smells of Moose as well !! I`m not gonna worry about it. I rinsed it off and called it good.
