I'll be out hobbling around. Have an OTC either sex archery tag. I am limited in what I'll be able to do this year, but I won't let that stop me from getting out.

Yup, the goal was to heal enough to get out with the bow. I put in about 8 miles scouting some spots this weekend and the foot held up alright. I won't be bivy hunting this year as I can't carry the weight i'd need, but at least I'll get out for day hunts.

I've yet to tag out with the bow so I was doing a lot of mountain biking to prep this year, unfortunately broke 5 bones in May and was off my feet for 2 months.

Good to hear you're making it out Jason! You heading back to your old stomping grounds or to a new area closer to home?
