Another Idaho Muley
« on: December 28, 2012, 01:17:07 PM »
My dad drew a late season buck tag this year in Idaho and we had high hopes of finding a big boy. Unfortunately, my dad never could get a good shot at the big bucks we ended up seeing. He filled his tag on a buck that we passed up earlier in the day after a few failed attempts on two other bigger bucks.

The great thing about the hunt was that I had my son there with us and he was able to witness what hunting was all about. To top it off this was the first time I had ever seen my dad shoot at or harvest anything since I started hunting at age 12. So it was a good hunt just for that!

Very cool.... 3 generations hunting together... The way its supposed to be.
Worst day hunting better than the best day working!
