I was looking at a map of the packs in oregon we have now and the wenaha and surrounding areas or all wolf areas now. Also or-7 has a den mate and pups on the cascade range. I'm hoping that wenaha doesn't get ruined like much of idaho's units like ive heard. Anyone here seen wolves in action?

I wouldn't mind trying baiting if it were legal in oregon. We can't use dogs either.

2'' group at 40yds, sounds pretty good to me. Sounds like after 3 arrows your getting tired and your form is suffering. I would look for some excersises or workouts to build stamina so you can shoot more accurate strings. Good Luck and Good shooting!

Nice, that's exciting then. Spring bear is an awesome way to stay in  shape and hold me over to fall. I hope your season comes soon!

I got out for the first time last sunday the 13th saw lots of elk and deer. But about an hour before dark this 200 pound bear shows up on a tree line in the bottom of a swampy clear cut. Story ends with a miss but it was sure nice to see a bear on the first trip out. I really wanted a 300+  bear so i guess it worked out for the best... thats what I keep tellin myself anyways.

+1 ON THE 185'S. I will add the nosler accubonds are a bit cheaper and out of my guns I have been getting tighter groups. Even more so than partitions out of my 300 weatherby they did a great job putting a smaller bull down at 465 yards this year. I would take how long you shot could be in consideration when choosing your bullet as well. You want something that will expand but also penetrate deep ( high coefficient)

nutrilite whey protien has whey more than just protiens like essential amino acids that help you get more out of the protien that you ingest by helping you break them down. bout 45$ last me a month. When it comes to health stuff you get what ya pay for.
