Campfire / Cameras
« on: December 07, 2018, 06:41:30 AM »
What is everyone using for a camera. I have never been one to take to many pictures when hunting. I purchased a canon rebel T6 last night at Costco to use when we are bowhunting and for cat hunting with my hounds.  We can also use the camera for our target business for promo pictures.

Thanks; Terry

Physical Conditioning / Work out plans and weight loss for 2019
« on: November 28, 2018, 07:02:44 AM »
 What is every ones work out plans and weight loss for 2019. Looking at the Mtn. Ops plan & Wilderness Athlete. I am going to be 53, trying to stay up with a 14 year son is a chore in its self. I have never had to really work out before until now. Cutting weight is my goal, cutting the old man bulk. I still consider my self in good shape at 53, but need to not hurt.

 What supplements do you guys recommend.

  Please give what your ideas are for 2019.

 I am a carpenter for a large hospital and I run a small archery target business, finding time is to work out is hard. Lucky to a large fitness gym at the hospital where I work. So taking a 1 1/2's after to work to work.

Thanks;
Terry

 I have lost my bowhunting buddy (son) to High School football. He did grow sense last fall 9 inches when we took this picture last year. I guess we try to fit in our hunting into this schedule.

Campfire / Zinks Big Sky Archery Targets
« on: June 20, 2018, 06:39:50 AM »
We have gone from just making a few targets to now making them on regular basis. We are using recycled shrink wrap and plastic sheeting in our targets. The targets are a box target made out of 3/4 CDX plywood We have ordered a line of targets skins, Elk, whitetails, mule deer, black bear, antelope and small game. We also have circles for one side of the target. My son Dylan and I feel very blessed with response we have gotten. Dylan is 14 and is helping me everyday, beside me working 40 hours a week as a carpenter. We will offer them in 48"x48"x18" and 36"x36"x18".  The local response has been a true blessing to my family. We are working with a great company out of Colorado to have our Target skins made, what a great family.

Thanks;

Campfire / Bunk cots
« on: April 20, 2018, 06:35:24 AM »
I am thinking on buying a Cabelas Big Horn 2 tent my friend has and it is 12 x 14 which is tight with 3 cots and a stove, plus gear.

 So the Question is has any one used the bunk cots that cabelas has.

Physical Conditioning / Outdoor workout course
« on: April 09, 2018, 07:01:20 AM »
What would guys recommend for a outdoor work out coarse. I live 25 miles from town and it is hard to get to the gym. I have set up a 4 mile mountain bike or hiking trail on my Onx maps with a lot of terrain. Now what to do at home (outside ideas) besides shooting our bows before and after the bike ride or hike. My wife and son will be doing this with me.

 Thanks; Terry
